Topics covered at the Summit

  • Advocacy

One of the challenges faced in the battle against childhood cancer is there are many types of childhood cancer and many different organizations and individuals supporting these children and their families in their fight. Working together, we can harness our collective strength to bring voice to our concerns.

  • Awareness

Working together, we can harness our collective strength to bring voice to our concerns. The general public doesn’t realize the magnitude of problems faced by children and adolescents with cancer and those who survive their cancers.

  • Research & Treatment

The Research and Treatment Interest Group strives to establish CAC2 as a credible resource for advancing the field of pediatric cancer research forward through thoughtful, progressive projects

  • Family Support

Supporting families is central to the mission of CAC2. When a family hears the words, “Your child has cancer,” life can feel instantly overwhelming. No family should have to navigate that moment, or the journey that follows, alone.

  • Survivorship

Survivors often bear the burden of their treatments and may not live better, higher quality lives due to the lifelong effects of childhood cancer.
